I'm a strategic designer who believes that design decisions should be people-driven and deliberate. For me, design has been a way to untangle complex problems, empower communities, and ask big questions.
With a background in economics, I have the foundation to understand behavioral psychology and use qualitative and quantitative research to organize and visualize data, recognize trends, and see how design impacts. To me, having empathy for people's needs and paying attention to the stories data has to tell serve as a primer for understanding good design.
I'm passionate about creating things, learning, driving impact, social good, and sustainability. I strongly value accessibility and inclusion. When I'm not designing, I like to cook, play tennis, go hiking, play go (the game), explore unfamiliar places, take photos, learn languages, and taste test teas.
